Presentation
With their multiple experiences as artistic contributors and bearers of a musical repertoire which is a privileged means of social and human connection, Les Mécanos are regularly called upon to carry out artistic and cultural education projects in specific territories.
Their polyphonic singing, from French oral heritage, lies between tradition and (re)creation. It allows us to question, on the scale of a community of municipalities for example, or even an establishment for the elderly, the memory of the participants and their links to local history, to result in participatory musical creation. original.
Territorial projects are generally deployed around three axes:
• The memorial relay on a delimited territory.
• Musical collection and creation.
• Sung vocal practice.
