With *LINHA[A]*—a work created entirely *a cappella* and stripped of any sound reinforcement technology—Les Mécanos have chosen to immerse themselves ever more deeply, as a collective, in the convivial, grassroots tradition of Southern polyphonic singing, guided by the expert and friendly ear of Pascal Caumont, who serves as artistic director.
